AppliedNet, Applied Systems’ annual user conference, couldn't be coming at a better time next week (Sept 9-12 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville) as it’s timed with Applied Systems & Formstack unveiling the move of the Applied Epic - Formstack Sign integration to a roundtrip integration.
Anyone attending the event next week should be on the lookup for Maggie Apostolova and Kayla Miles from Formstack at booth #239, where we will be previewing the newly updated bidirectional integration.
Applied Systems has been integrated with Formstack Sign since 2018, and these new updates address the top requested feature from our hundreds of joint customers – automatically saving digitally signed Formstack Sign documents back to the Applied Epic activity record.
The Applied Epic—Formstack Sign integration combines the power of Applied Epic for managing an insurance agency with the ease of use and speed of Formstack Sign for collecting documents for digital signatures.
The lifeblood of insurance agencies is agents and customers. One of the most critical interactions is the signing of documents – and the faster and easier that process is, the better for agents and customers.
Send Documents for Signature Instantly from Applied Epic
Here below, you can see a video of the new integration in action:
The process for instantly sending a document for digital signature from Applied Epic is as follows:
- Choosing one or more insurance documents from Applied Epic and clicking the option to Send to eSignature
- Selecting which contacts to send for signature and choosing to send via email or SMS message
- Laying out any signature fields or other information that you need to collect as part of the signed document through a rapid drag-and-drop process
- Adding a personalized message and clicking send
- Upon sending the document, the agent is returned to the Applied Epic interface, and they can choose to create an activity record for the document
Once the customer digitally signs the document:
- The Applied Epic user will receive a real-time pop-up notification if logged in to Applied Epic
- Both agent and customer will receive real-time emails, including a PDF attachment of the signed document. The signed document includes an imprint of all signatures, any additional information captured from the customer, and a digital signature certificate in the document, along with a complete document audit trail as part of that digital signature
- The signed doc automatically saves back to that activity record, saving agents time and ensuring quality and complete data in Applied Epic for that customer
The ability to send multiple documents for signature, combined as one document, is a very popular feature. It saves time and ensures a quick signature process for customers who need to sign multiple documents as part of their policy.
Formstack Sign also has a standalone interface that agents can use for any one-off documents that need to be routed for signature – e.g., documents unrelated to Applied Epic – via a quick and easy upload.
